Themis Tzimas holds a PhD in public international law and political science from the School of Law of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The theme of his thesis is human security within the framework of collective security and the use of force. Themis completed his post- doc research in international law at the University of Macedonia. He is a member of the International Laboratory for International Studies in the Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean in the school of Economics and Political Science of Aristotle University. Themis is also a lawyer, focusing on human and refugee rights, and a political activist in Greece. He is currently working on issues related to Artificial Intelligence.
